BMD powers up the furnace as official partner of the Perth Scorchers
In the lead up to BMD’s 10th anniversary year of operations in Western Australia, BMD has teamed up with the Perth Scorchers and WA Cricket for the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and Men’s Big Bash League (BBL). Marking BMD’s first major sponsorship deal in the west, BMD is joining forces with a sporting franchise that shares our family values, commitment to the community and high-performance team mantra. Perth Scorchers Interim General Manager Jess Keily highlighted both organisations’ commitment to excellence, as well as their shared passion for the Western Australian community. “Our values align closely with BMD, highlighting a commitment to fostering strong family values and being a leading organisation in the community. “Together, we look forward to creating unforgettable moments this summer,” Ms Keily said. BMD General Manager of WA Leon Fogliani shared that BMD is equally excited about the partnership with it providing opportunities for BMD to integrate with the community. “The Scorchers are a formidable force in the Australian sporting landscape, and we are eager to align with a brand that shares our family values, community reach and high-performance mantra. It’s a partnership powered by our love for sporting culture and great Australian summers, which bring families and communities together, on and off the field,” Mr Fogliani said. “As BMD celebrates a decade of operations in Western Australia early in 2025, we’re extremely proud to align this milestone with our partnership with Perth Scorchers and WA Cricket – our first major partnership in the west. “It brings tremendous opportunity, not only for activating our brand with cricket fans, but investing in community and grassroots sport as the naming rights sponsor of the BMD Junior Cricket League.” The partnership adds to BMD’s sponsorship portfolio which platforms our community values, now with seven major partnerships across the Australian sporting landscape in the Brisbane Lions, Western Sydney Wanderers, BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club, North Queensland Cowboys, Melbourne Vixens and Queensland Rugby League.
