BMD recognised at CCF Victoria Training Awards

BMD Urban Site Foreman, Tristan was awarded 2016 Certificate IV Civil Construction Supervisor/Operations Winner at the 2017 Civil Contractor Federation Victoria Branch (CCF VIC) Training Awards held in Melbourne on 31 March. Tristan was recognised for his skills and knowledge across a range of BMD projects and environments, his commitment to the BMD Way and our Zero Harm goal, and his highly effective communication skills. Tristan was also praised for his commitment and understanding while undertaking a Certificate IV in Civil Construction. During the course, Tristan proved his capability of dealing with a range of complications in a highly professional and efficient manner. BMD was also recognised as a finalist for the CCF Training Employer of the Year for Roads award, for our commitment to training and the professional development of our people. The annual CCF VIC Training Awards recognise outstanding efforts and achievements by the next generation of contractors undertaking vocational or tertiary education, apprenticeships in the civil construction industry, and employers dedicated to providing skills, knowledge and safe working environments to their workforce. BMD is proud of our employees’ achievements and the everyday contribution our people play in the advancement of Australia’s contracting industry. Awards such as this highlight BMD’s commitment to the continual advancement and upskilling of our employees through a range of practical, forward thinking and focused initiatives.
